Religious music is a fractional part of the totality of reviews (and of the magazine content). Many reviews have other contributors, but in the religious category, most reviews were written by the editor, Neville Williams. In addition to imports and imprints ("Gospel Film Ministry" is Word Records), artists of local concern are reviewed. Many reviews also comment on the quality of the vinyl pressing. The lineage of the magazine begins in 1922 as Wireless Weekly, which in 1939 became Radio and Hobbies. In 1955 the name changed to Radio, Television and Hobbies, and finally settled on EA in 1965.
